People want to pressure Ukraine into a pause by giving up territory because, pardon my french, it’s your ass and not theirs. Russia won’t stop demanding for more Ukrainian territory until there isn’t any left, and then they will have regrouped, reinforced their logistics, have a new population to enslave as cannon fodder, and the neighbouring countries will be opening their eyes when the pain starts to hit them. To be fair, the neighbouring countries already know that, they still remember the disaster that is having Russia doing as it pleases, stepping over other countries. It’s those that are further away that have more people thinking that they are untouchable, or that they can get away by licking putin’s boots. Russia must not be allowed any slack. If you get into a fist fight, you will take it to the end. What putin is showing is that he bit off more than he could chew and is now asking for a pause so that he can catch his breath. Ukrainians would have to be mad to grant him that. If he gets back on his feet, Ukraine is as good as dead as a country. If Ukraine falls, the closest countries that have leaders with a brain will ramp up weapon production even further, as they know they will be next. I’ve had enough of brain dead people who cannot see past their bellies, thinking that the world can be a paradise if we all just get along. The biggest problem with that theory is that for that to happen, many have to drop their trousers in order for others to feel satisfied. That is voluntary slavery, and I honestly don’t see Ukraine settling for that.

Unfortunately, the years of peace that Europe and the rest of the West/Democratic world enjoyed prior to russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine resulted in the emergence of weak, bureaucratic, self serving politicians. These are Politicians that are more concerned with voting blocks and the retention of power than with upholding the rule of law than with the principles of right and wrong. Politicians who lack the courage and moral fortitude to stand up for principles and laws established by their predecessors to maintain world order and the sovereignty of any country other than their own. Politicians who constantly look for way and means to appease the bad actors like Putin. Not one of them, least of all America, would give up a single inch of their own territory to appease Putin or any other dictator. But, they appear quite amenable to sacrifice a good portion of the sovereign territory of Ukraine, a young and vibrant democracy, to an aggressive, corrupt and barbaric russia. All in the name of "peace." Naturally, they will not say this openly. Instead they endeavor to pressure Ukraine into accepting the loss of their territory by making grand statements and promises of support while all the time making allegations of corruption and slow walking the aid. This can seen quite easily if one tracks the time interval between when these grand promises are made and when the actual aid arrives. Further evidence is apparent, from the very start of this genocidal attack on Ukraine, in the reluctance to provide Ukraine with weapon systems in sufficient quantities to ensure, not only the adequate defense and safety of Ukrainian civilians, but the ability of the courageous Ukrainian soldiers to defeat the russians. As for the allegations of corruption, this is just another smoke screen. There is not a single country that can claim to be without corruption. America, the so called leader of the free world, cannot claim to be free of corruption. Nor can the U.K. or any other country on this planet. Even at the highest levels of government where cases of corruption have been documented. I believe that Ukraine, like every other democratic country, is doing their utmost to combat corruption under very difficult circumstances. There is a lack of strong, decisive leadership in the west. Until this is remedied, dictators are unlikely to be deterred. I firmly believe that, had western leaders shown real leadership by taking an uncompromising stance with regards to russias imperialistic ambitions from the start, the world, and particularly Ukraine, would be in a much better place than it is now. The so far ineffectual attempts to push Ukraine towards an unjust negotiation where Ukraine would be forced to accept the loss of sovereign territory for peace will, in all likelihood, bring a third world war closer not further away. History will not be kind to many of the current so called leaders of the free world. For me, an ordinary man, who is even more skeptical of modern day politicians than ever before; ther can be no ceding of territory to russia. Ukrainian borders must be restored and that includes Crimea. The message to putin must be, get the hell out of Ukraine now! This would also send a message to other dictators or wannabee dictators that their genocidal, thieving behavior and threats will no longer be tolerated in the free democratic world. Slava Ukraine!

I’m an American and trump does not speak for the majority of Americans. Wealthy criminals in America, china and russia want to break National and International laws to gain money and power in order to rule the World. We the people will not pander to wannabe dictators. Ukraine should never again capitulate to any outsider for any reason.

No peace until Russia is out of Ukraine. No to Trump trading other countries' territories for 'peace', in this case Ukrainian territories. Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk were occupied in the time of Obama-Biden administration. Because that was allowed, Russia decided on the next stage in 2022.
